Help rattle/rubbing noise after cambelt change

Featured Replies

Hey guys as it says I got this rattle/rubbing noise and u can't for the life off me find it.

I've put my hand all the way down the timing covers and I can't feel anything rubbing it.

The belt was fitted with a total kit and water pump. I hope it's not serious :/

Check coolant hoses, sometimes they get in the way following a TB job and are rubbed by the belts. Had that on my Mk1 RIP.

i once had the same problem , it was a faulty bearing in the new timing belt kit , as it was fitted by skoda dealer it was covered under their warranty so no further cost to me the whole lot got replaced .

The tensioner role has a spacer.did you put it back?
