Hi all,

 

Having been reading up on things for a while before joining the forum and continuing since I finally took the plunge yesterday and purchased my first Skoda.

 

I've been looking for 11 months on and off but started to look a bit more seriously in July and after selling my last car in mid September I've been looking like mad. After doing a hell of a lot of homework on various vRS' I found her! A 60 plate, white (best colour ), powder black wheels, rear sensors with visual display on display. Really quite happy with her. Hopefully I'll have many happy miles with her and she seems to be a belter.

Already thinking of a dash cam as well as seeing about getting a few VCDS options done if I can get in touch with someone local up here that would be willing to help a Skoda newbie out.

 

VCDS that I'm thinking of:

Passenger mirror moving down when reverse selected

Brake/hazzard lights flashing under emergency braking

 

If anyone can suggest any other good ones to consider then that would be great.

I'm already enjoying it Bit of jump up from my last car. Looking forward to many miles behind the wheel

 

Is there a list of all the VCDS options? I've searched and can't find it anywhere. I thought someone had done a word doc and that's where I saw the thing about the passenger mirror. Would be good if there was a complete list to go through and see what could be good

The attached gives you a reasonable overview of changeable options via VCDS. More is likely possible/different with the FL as controllers changed etc.

No need to be sorry Mike. However I will say bugger! When I had read about that option I thought it would be pretty good. Not too worry though.
