is it me or are these speed stripes in ....take these for a few examples....

I quite like them on certain cars. On the ST they look kinda good. :rolleyes:

At the end of the day, there are so many features on all our cars that were derived from the models of yesteryear. And why not eh.

L-Y-K, you are a bit of a dab hand at this sort of thing, what can you do to the current vRS's (Octy1&2 & Furbie), like to see what they would look like!!

These "viper stripes" in fact first appeared on the Shelby race prepared AC Cobra, driven by Carroll Shelby. He worked in a set of overalls with either one or two white stipes on, hence the idea for his car. Putting them on Ford Fiesta's and the like is just wrong :thumbdwn:

The worst one i have seen is a black daewoo matiz, tints, neons, and stripes....:eek: :rofl:

In my day speed stripes came from Halfords and they ran along the side of the doors

The 'Go faster' stripe returns !!! YUK !!
