Yes officer, I'm not drunk just avoiding pot holes

I have had a sniff of the New Harris Tweed with a permanent Johnnie Walker Whisky scent (Aqua Alba),

but i think wearing a jacket with this while driving  is just going to cause bother while speaking to an officer if that was necessary.

Plenty of industrial alcohols are available to put in a washer bottle that do not have Duty on them like Vodka does.

(some of the stuff i drink tastes and has a kick like industrial alcohol.)

Try that in sheff

Youd spin out uncontrollably lol

So i was wondering.

How hot would the water have to be to crack the frozen windscreen?

You would have to be silly to have it hot enough,

but how cold does the windscreen have to be.

Or a Chip on it, just like often happens, cold weather or not, and sometimes in Cold Weather as the sun comes out.

Try an experiment tomorrow maybe.

Pour cold water on frozen ground and try some warm water.

Super Freezing, like the Coke Bottle Experiment.

I had Coil Springs that just snapped 2 weeks ago,

it had been below freezing for several days, then went 2 degrees above one day and then about 4.00 pm the temp dropped 4 degrees C,

and i heard a noise, and could not spot what it was.

Next Morning i spotted the Broken Coils.

So itll be the quick increase in temp that makes it crack wont it.

So if its -15 tonight (which may or may not actually happen) then the water is gonna have to be barely warm isnt it?

The last thing i want is a cracked windscreen haha.

They are saying -10*oC over snowfields etc.

If you have minus 10 or 15 then your warm water will be interesting poured,

take a Flask of Warm Water & one of Boiling Water with you.

When i did 4x4 Rescue / Assistance i always had a Flask of Boiling water when taking Pregnant Ladies to Hospital.

I remember being asked if this was to help during the Delivery of the Baby incase it came before we got to the hospital.

But i had to say no,

It was so i could have a cup of Tea while someone else did the delivery.

If it is -10/-15 im gonna walk outside, n walk back in again. Straight back in bed.

Its not an important day n thinkin about it, id probably wiser keeping my car out of the carnage.

And beds warm. Of course.

Used warm water this morning worked a treat. No messin.

Forgot the washer jets though. So had to pull over at a buy a bottle of water to throw over the windscreen. Couldnt see a thing haha.
