Rear door problem

Featured Replies

So I locked my doors the other week as you do with remote, but when I came to open them again the near side door stayed locked and has done since, Ive tried opening it manually with no success.

Anybody have any ideas how to open it, I did managed to open it manually once but once closed it stayed closed, our lass said she had it opened the other day with the remote.

Any ideas would be appreciated

thanks

Search deadlocked rear door. hopefully you can get it open an repaired or you will be smashing bits apart.

Depends if you have central locking, use partbase to help you get the right part. Alternatively, ring your local dealer for a price and ask him to confirm part no. off their system for your car.

Before you rip bits apart there was one thread which said summet about using unlock ob fob while hitting some thing, that managed to open it. Again , Search is your friend, I may have even started that thread.

i got full car breaking

Hands off the rear passenger one though! Haha

you need to remove rear doorcard with door closed obviously and drill rear pop rivets out of regulator to get at it easy after that you can unlock it manually with a screw driver few new pop rivets and new lock happy days done mine
