Used vcds which easily let me choose to activate fogs as DRLs and it worked. Trouble is they will not switch on/off from the indicator stalk as per the manual. (Don't have maxidot)

 

Wondering if I need to activate another option as well.

 

Couple to choose from i.e. Activate DRL via seperate lights,

 

or DRL adaption active (MFA +) (Not sure what this is. Did a search and wondering if its something to do with the Maxidot menu so that wouldn't apply to me)

 

Sure someone will have the answer.

If your FL Octavia has front fog lights it will also have the seperate / dedicated DRL's too.

 

Just curious in this case why you need to use the front fog lights as DRL's?

 This option will turn on the dedicated DRL's.
