Unbelievable!

Getting deja vu with that, was something similar reported last year?

What, woman in expensive car hasn't a clue what she's doing? Surely can't happen that often.

One trusts she was at least given 'words of advice' over the danger she posed to herself and others.  Muppet  :wall:

Gaz

Wouldn't have made a difference what size or power of car she was driving, or in fact what sex the driver was.

The fact is she doesn't posses an ounce of common sense, or driver awareness. Any driver that is that stupid should be temporarily banned and made to resit a theory test before being allowed on the road again.

All I can say you can't teach stupid.

On a similar note I came across a ageing female driving a brand new Range Rover sport and she could not reverse it back into the entry she came out right in front of my car causing the road to block. Now I thought these things had sensors and cameras as standard so really can't be that difficult to reverse

A fuel light is a fuel light, doesn't matter what car it is and if she was used to it or not. License should have been removed for stopping in lane 3 for a start. Even if your car is on fire, get over to the hard shoulder at least.

Exactly.

Doesnt matter whats wrong. You needa try your best to get out of lane 3

The car was functioning perfectly and she just stopped.

She should have her licence removed, but she gets sent on her way.

Then a person cruising at 100mph in a perfectly safe way on a motorway gets taken to court and banned.

Makes no sense to me.

Some people are crazy

How was she not arrested?! I'm sure I read a while back about a women being fined for stopping on the hard shoulder. After she's pulled over the throw up!? Apparently she should've proceeded to a service station, because throwing up over yourself wouldn't have distracted your from driving the car safely. . . . Commenting on twitter? IS that all the police thought was appropriate?

Take the license off the stupid bitch, she could've killed people by being stupid. Classic 'I'm safe in my big car' attitude, which tend to contain scared drivers with white knuckles driving at 55 down the middle lane. (I know not all but, these types irritate me the most).

If you're retarded and don't feel safe driving, and drive a big car for 'protection' you're clearly pointing out you shouldn't be on the road. Worse you could kill those who can't afford a 'big new safe car', like young drivers. SELFISH!

Rant over. . . .

While it's not perhaps an arrestable offence in the eyes of the law, I could see how a charge of 'Dangerous Driving' or 'Driving Without Due Care & Attention' could apply here.

A dangerous decision was made, due to inexperience and unfamiliarity. On a lesser charge, she wasn't driving with appropriate care - to arrive at the decision to stop in Lane 3 because a warning light came on!

Driving training and driver attitude. Those are the real issues here.

Notwithstanding the fact that you've always got several miles to play with after the fuel light comes on, even in a Q7

1.5 gallons remaining usually, if the light's just come on?

Surely if it had been a bloke, he would have been charged with due care at least?

LOL at the BAN!, BAN!, BAN! comments and other crap above though.

True. Looks like someone had a pretty good try here though.

The basic model has cameras and sensors so it should have been a breeze.

Bet she was tidy.

If she was a minger they'd have locked her up.

How is the fact of her being an Audiot relevant? "Low fuel" lights are common enough these days that she should have seen one before.

Springs to mind.

Yeah. Damn right.

Bet she was a right milf.

She's very lucky not to have caused an accident.

I just can't even begin to get my head round to the fact that somebody could actually be so stupid!

I'm amazed they didn't give her a ticket!

Phil

I see it as dangerous driving and a shame the police did not.

Think that's simply a reporting angle, nothing more.
