Featured Replies

Hi all

I have a Engine light on in my 2006 vrs, The code is something to do with the Evap system? if I'm reading it right. I have looked on Google but total confused, any one had this problem before?

On the plus side the car drives great no boost issues or lose in power

Thanks

If the code is P0441 - Try replacing your N80 valve first.

Mine had the same problem and code; this solved it.

Thanks buddy will do, there loud engines was shocked to find out its normal very clicky and top load! With the bonnet up

Might just have been overfilling. Does it go out after a bit?

Mine did it a couple of time when I'd filled the tank past the first click of the pump. Went away after a bit.

TFSI doesn't sound great. Cracking engine but the noise isn't one of it's best features.

Sounds like the charcoal cannister had same problem a while back, changed valve no change cost 35 pounds from dealer cannister was 81 pounds and all fine now.

Charcoal dries out in the cannister hence the fault, i should have taken advice from other members who had same, and saved some cash. Its located front left corner near washer bottle.

Where did you get the charcoal canniest from bud

Got from dealer in york where i live, certain parts are best dealer parts this is one of them. Your looking around 30 second hand and dont know how long it will last.

One thing you will find you have to use your own bracket , as new one comes without easy to do.2 x 10mm bolts and a 10mm nut.
