New Yeti owner on the block

Featured Replies

Hi! I have just bought a new Yeti Outdoor L&K 2L 170BHP colour: Muscovado. Looks stunning and is great fun to drive, well pleased! Metallic Muscavado really suits the Yeti.Someone has told me that if the car has been using the turbo for any length of time you should let the engine idle for a minute or so after reaching your destination to avoid possible damage to the turbo, is this true?? Thoughts anyone?

Welcome. And good choice of colour (it's what I wanted but couldn't find).

I've no proof but the general consensus seems to be that if you've been working the car hard to drive the last few miles more moderately and / or allow standing time on arrival to allow the engine / turbo to 'relax' before going to bed...
