Amazon 'Audible' file question as MP3 format

Featured Replies

Hi

My son is now into Audio books, which is great for us as we're going to scream if we have to listen to many more nursery rhymes in the car....

The BBC version of Winnie ther Pooh (Judi Dench, Stephen Fry and others) is an enourmous hit with him so I am looking at getting the second set of stories from Amazon as an Audible download so we can put them in the Octy on an SD card in the Bolero, and on an MP3 player in the Fabia.

However, from the description in Amazon I am not sure that you can play these files if not going through some kind of itunes/android/Windows Media platform.

Does anybody know please?

Thanks

I'd try and find a free one, buy that and try it first. IIRC they are just standard MP3 files though.

Thanks.

I tried and they download as AAC files, which the Bolero will not recognise and since they are protected, Itunes will not convert them.

So we've back to buying cd's.
