Just recently acquired a 08 Fabia 1.9Tdi for the Mrs to run around in, only one issue so far is a knocking coming from behind the glove box area... it has a small and large glove box and it seems to be behind the top box more so any thoughts what it could be ??  Thanks

Seriously - it's not the lid itself is it? It could be that on of the little rubber stops is missing

No I've eaten the Mars Bar... not the lid, did think about it being the airbag but I think I might whip the top box out and get Mrs to drive me around for a few miles to see if I can see anything obvious... could be something as silly as the cabin filter bouncing in its case which I assume is under the dash in that area.? Thanks for thoughts keep um coming any thoughts (sensible ones of course) Oh yes it is empty... that was the first thing I checked, it did have the service pack/instruction booklets etc in their wallet but I removed that and still the same.

Only got the Fabia cos she managed to write off her focus...lol

make sure the screws holding the box's are tight enough, if its had a fan resistor change it they might have worked lose if not tightened up properly
