Just noticed this recently, airbag light in the center of the dash is not turned on sometimes.. passenger airbag is on, maybe the light turns on just on car start and than turns off?

I just found in the manual that the airbag light goes off 65 seconds after the ignition has been turned on.

Yep, I'd had the car months before I noticed this,(probably because it was dark). Expect it stays on permantly if you switch it off to allow a child seat to be safely fitted to front passenger seat. I have no need to test that theory.
