Hi all, can anyone tell me the easiest and safest way to remove the air bag on my Fun as i need to remove the steering wheel. Many thanks robert.....

Nothing to be frightened of disconnect the battery and I always switch the ignition back on just to check no power left in the system

remove the two Alan screws underneath the steering wheel

lift bag up and disconnect electrical contact

Be gentle with the ring that ensures the electrical connection As they can be fragile

if you're really nervous don't sit in the drivers seat work from each side

there's a pretty impressive video on YouTube of a firefighter who sticks his head in a car to speak to the driver and then the airbag goes off

When you connect it back up make sure you leave ignition on before connecting batter that way you should no get the air bag light on....
