Hi, I have an 2008 Octavia Ambiente with the Stream Mp3 +  boot cd changer and the std (basic) dashbaord display and steering wheel..

 

 

My first and most important change i want to make it to be able to have bluetooth into the head unit for music playback, this can be an addon or an upgraded radio..

 

2nd is if possible to include DAB in that upgrade as well

 

 

the other part of my upgrades is possibly changing to maxidot dash.. tho cant decide if its worth it without steering wheel controls.. which then also leads to possibly getting a new steering wheel.. which i expect to be pricey!

 

 

 

I tried to find a list of the head units available to see if any came with bt as std.. but it seems to be an addon option for most cars and not a std part of the radio..

 

I've beeing going round in circles for days trying to find something and all i have found is a Xcarlink device but at £130 or £80 for a Chinese copy.. i was wondering if a complete radio might be a better option

Some of the Amundsen+ head units had built in BT and DAB but it's not always easy to tell which does and which doesn't.

Changing the steering wheel is easier and cheaper than adding maxidot.
