Rear seatbelts jammed after removal

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I've put the rear seats and stuff back in my car as I just use it for work now. I've come to put my rear belts back in and because they fully retracted when I've stored them they won't come back out, is there a special way you have to do it or a button you press too get them back out? Cheers

Iirc holding them upside down will release them.pretty sure they will release, just really fiddly.

Try dropping it forward and slamming it back a couple times. The little plastic clip hasn't slipped past the plastic cover on top of the seats has it (if you know what I mean)?

Had this when putting in sports seats last week! If you can hold it upside down with the central belt bolt in, that should do it (with a few tugs) as mentioned above!

Generally need to be dead level to release the reel.
