Radio draining battery

Featured Replies

Hi.

I have a Octavia 1.9 diesel 2007. it's been identified that the radio was causing a continuous batteryou drain which meant a spare battery and jump leads in the boot.

I have removed the radio fuse to check that this was the only issue.

I do wish to get the radio working again.

It's one with the Satnav on it too.

Suggestions was that it may need a software update.

Is this something I can do myself, or do I need to pay Skoda £60 to perform that task.

Thanks for any advice

Olly
