Im after someone with good knowledge of vcds to code in a hid kit for me. The car is a 59 plate fl vrs if this makes any difference. Checked the vcds map and messaged a few people but had no response. Willing to travel and pay if someone can do it for me

wouldnt bother with hids on a fl ive gon through 2 bcm modules there not cheap either

Apparently only run into problems using a canbus hid kit? Using a normal hid kit and coding them in properly doesnt cause any issue

Correct with the FL, use non canbus bulbs and code the car with VCDS an you'll have none of the problems caused by canbus bulbs.

 

Hopefully someone will be in touch, we have several active members in Hampshire.
