Just wondering on how everyone else washes their windscreen when it comes to a car wash in terms of the glass below the window wipers.

Im currently turning on the wipers so that when they are in the vertical position i turn off the ignition so that they stay there.

Is that the correct way to be doing that particular part of the glass?

Any replies would be much appreciated

I suspect that people will be along telling you not to use car washes at all but if you must, your way seems good.

Turn on the ignition

Turn off again and press the wiper arm down and they will start and stop in the vertical position

But you can bring it to me to remove the scratches...So it does have an advantage!! :sun:

Don't do it. You'll wreck your paint and your wheels will never get properly cleaned.
