Currently in the market for a snow foam lance for my new Nilfisk pressure washer.

 

I'm aware of the DW Autobrite deal. I've just had a look at that thread and the last post was sometime in September last year...  Does anyone know if this deal is still running please?

 

Probably covered before (search brings up a minefield!), but is the Autobrite lance a good choice?

Is it just a case of PayPal to their account and confirming which deal you're after? Or phone them.

I personally would get a lance from direct hoses on ebay and they get car chem snow foam which is on offer @ £10.20 for 5L at the moment.

I was looking at those cheaper lances earlier.

 

Is it worth buying a cheap one...  Can anyone comment on the quality of them?

Yeah they are all much of a muchness to be honest. I think it was Northern Monkey who said that they are all made in the same factory in Italy?

 

They are widely used by people on Detailing World.

The direct hoses ones are fine, I've been using one for about 3years & it is sometimes used daily.

Perfect combo & one of my favourites. BH is not a thick foam but cleans as good, if not better than most.

I've used the AD lance, top bit of kit! Not overly impressed with the Magifoam so if I were you I'd plump for the separate lance and BH foam.

I've not tried the BH, but agree with your comments about the lance and magifoam. I needed a new lance after the ebay 1 I bought started producing thin foam, even after I'd took it apart and cleaned the filter it was still the same so I got the AB one which produces thicker foam. Thanks to Chris' initial testing I feel a mixture of magifoam and power maxed tfr coming on........

You won't go wrong with Bilt Hamber Autofoam like the guys say. It isn't the thickest, which is a good thing as it doesn't then sit on you drive or in front of your house all day and it's cleaning ability is fantastic. Below is a link to a thread I posted a few weeks back.

I got some of this some time ago when it was on offer and I like it. I'm using it at present because my usual valet pro seperates in cold weather and I keep forgetting to take it inside to warm up. It also seems quicker to disperse on the drive after too. At that price its a steal.
