Well, the adapter I have been using to power my dash cam has been annoying of late ( not sitting right in socket)

 

anyway, I was getting a little irritated and pushing it down into place- but now the socket doesn't seem to work at all - I thought I might have blown a fuse but the light around the socket is still on?

 

Though I might have broken something but it all looks fine??

 

Ideas??

Mine hasn't worked since I got the car even though it's giving out 12v 

The light bulb for the surround, and the socket itself don't share a fuse, so check the fuse for the socket itself, Fuse 42 (15A).
