Featured Replies

Hallo to all i am interested to know if anyone has tested N75 turbo valve on octavia rs?Does it fit into the engine? After installing it do i have to modify the ecu programm or something else on the car?Has anyone personal experience? Also i am interested in buying KKK K04 turbo and suspention and intercooler k&w or billstein does anybody know a good price online store ?Which is the best intercooler for octavia?i mean with the lower temperature intake air?Thank you in advance.

Their are several different types of N75 valve that fit on the vRS but to get the best out of them a remap is really required.

As an experiment we did a small test on a RR, and run the car standard with 2 different types. Standard was as you would expect, then the N75 changed and run again. Initial pickup was good, but then the car overboosted slightly and the ECU cut back the power which resulted in a lower BHP figure and a very spikey graph.

I fitted an N75J after my remap...allows turbo to spool quicker and give about 0.1 more boost...I kept on hitting the boost limit as I could here the "whistle" pulsing.

Then had a go at getting a remap with the N75J in.....was aweful...car ran very rough.

Have a search on Seat Cupra net...they have a lot more information regarding this...it's quite a popular modification for the Ibiza peeps.

Adrian, must have been you I was thinking of in the 2nd post of this thread. Ignore that reply as the car was remapped.

GaryM did some RR runs comparing the N75F (standard) with the N75J on a remapped car. The N75F improved the bottom end but the top end of the rev range was ruined as the heat build caused the ECU to back off. This can be seen on the graph as the power and torque suddenly drop off.

LOL...Manny...couldn't remember who was there that day. :D
