Rear hatch trim removal

Featured Replies

Need to access my rear washer pipe, have unclipped 2 clips at bottom, one either side, now stumped. How many clips are there and exactly where are they, anyone got a link to a diagram or info on how to remove this panel?

Thanks in advance

There is a few. They can be stiff.

Here is the procedure from another thread.

I had quite a lot of practice with my hatchback. Not a difficult job with a little care.

Start with top pic. Remove screw 2, then from A work around the edge with a trim removal tool (or something wide & flat that won't damage the trim). The clips just pull out, with a little effort.

Then pic 2. Remove the parcel shelf retainers at 4 (be sure to use a well fitting torx socket as these damage easily otherwise) & screws 2. Again unclip from A.

Before you refit just be sure all the clips are fastened into the trim panels.
