I have searched for this as a topic but can't find anyone mentioning the problem I have been experiencing.

I have a 2011 Mk2 Fabia vRS. For the last few weeks the MDI cable plugged into my iPhone 4S has been working it's way loose as I drive along, to the point where it often stops playing.

The reason for this is obviously the bumpy roads where I live! The phone obviously moves around when I hit bumps so I thought the best solution would be to get an extension cable so the phone can rest in the centre console in front of the gearshift.

Is there anything else I could do?

If not, which cable should I purchase?

could you not use an elastic band round the bottom and over the top of the phone?

Simple but effective I suppose!

You could try one of these http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=111294462981&alt=web cut to the shape of the cubby where the MDI socket is. The phone wouldn't slide about so the cable would stay put.?
