Can someone tell me how the aerial is taken away?

I talk about the piece which one can only unscrew and bow.

You have to unscrew it then give it a sharp tug to break the security barb.

Once you have unscrewed the aerial, give it a good tug.

Will it go back on if you fubar and get the wrong replacement?
