No internal heat

Featured Replies

I have a 2005 Fabia.  Even if i go for the max of 26 degrees on the internal heater, the air comes in cold.  Still cold air with temperature of the car at 90 degrees and using the blower on all 4 speeds. First thing I thought of changing was the thermostat but I threw away Euro36 because it did not change things.  Can someone tell me what's wrong ?  Can anyone tell me if the temperature flap in my skoda is mechanical or electric ?

It is electro-mechanical. it can become confused or the flaps can stick in position. There's a VCDS procedure (I think) for resetting them. It's also possible the motor(s) have failed.

Try searching the Fabia MK1 forum for heater problems. Or even google for it on site:www.briskoda.net
