I havent tried this 50cal

BUT

Won't Poorboys Black Hole do the same job? (Swirl filling)

I don't rate BH. It certainly doesn't fill as well or darken the paint as much as cover up. I'd put cover up along side Prima Amigo. Both much better than BH from my point of view.

  • So, today I managed to steal a few hours in the morning to give the Filler Glaze a go. I've been itching to try it!     It's a bright blue in colour and smells like bubble gum, definitely good en

  • Exactly Chris. You can get a finish that would normally take hours of correction work within a relatively short time scale, albeit not permanent. Also for people that have the skill but not the time.

  • Just did a bit more research on 50cal this morning as my daughter got up at 6. They manufacture their own products but more importantly, their filler glaze does cause skin irritation. It's like seco

Cheers Neil..Just wondering

Incedently..while on the subject...

Bilt Hamber Autobalm is very heavy with fillers and covers up most..but is a pure sealant

Down side..its a bugger to buff..it needs a wet method

I gave the Octavia a wash today with 50cals shampoo, Tracer. Really pleasant to use, great smell and plenty of suds. Only put 20 ml in roughly 10l of water. May put 15ml in next time.

Gave the car a quick layer of CG 50/50 which I haven't used in about 2 years. Such a lovely wax to use, forgot how nice it was!

I was contemplated selling it as it was just sitting there. But I've really fallen in love with waxing again and the finish on the Skoda is awesome again. It is going nowhere!!!

Plus, I'd forgotten how slick it makes the paintwork feel. Just get it on the car and remove at your leisure. Still the most pleasurable wax I've used to both apply and remove.

Completely agree with you on that, it's easier than some of the more expensive waxes at 3 times the price

NM this is for you.......
