This Spaceback loan car I have has a MFSW but has no controls on the wiper stalk. It's just the normal stalk with variable wipe button only.

Does this mean the car has no Maxidot or is it controlled by the steering wheel buttons instead?

I haven't tried any of the buttons yet so I was wondering if any of you guys have this?

It's only showing fuel range in miles on the display and I don't know how to change it.

No, that's correct. If you have a MFSW on the Spaceback, you control Maxidot from there (the right hand side click wheel & right hand 'back' button), you only get a normal indicator stalk - needless duplication of controls otherwise.
