Skoda fabia my radio won't turn on.

Featured Replies

Hi,

My factory fitted radio on my skoda fabia 1.4 mpi (52) won't turn on at all but still lights up when I turn lights on. Ive taken it out to check the wires and all connected and fine, the fuse hasn't blown either. Has the radio simply just broken or is there an explanation? Could somebody help?

You need a local member to check with. Maybe change the title of the post and see if someone can lend you another radio.

Sounds like it is broken, where are you based?

Thanks for the help guys and I'm based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire will check with someone local if it is broken ill just look for another radio. Thanks anyway.

We've got the same problem which seems to be related to one of the wires in the Quadlock at the back.

With the stereo out I've wiggled the wires at the terminals and got it working again, but not consistently.

As our Fabia 1.4 also has door locking and interior light issues (related to the wiring loom going into the door by the hinges) I'll not be bothering to fix this.
