Ah that might change things then but it sounds like the newer stream mp3 diagram you are referring to. Is that the diagram on the sticker on the head unit? If so can you post a picture?

When I get chance probably tomorrow I will have another play with it and send you a picture of the wiring diagram. Thanks for helping me with this

Had another go with pins 3, 8,9 and still no joy

Based on that picture it is pin 2 as suspected for the cd/aux earth and pins 8 and 9 for the aux positive, replacing the cd pins. I would try it replacing the existing pins for 8 and 9 but leaving the cd earth in pin 2 and pushing both earth pins into the hole.

So keep 2 as the earth for the cd changer and for the aux lead and use 8 and 9 as before?

I reckon its worth a try.

I will give it a try but I think it that doesn't work then I will have to buy a connects 2

Yeah its probably not worth any more hassle! You will need cd changer selected if it does work.

I know I must of had the Hu out at least 10 times. Does it matter if there is a disc or not in the cd changer or Hu? I don't think it will
