Dear Guys, 

 

Due to my wrong operation (forgot to press clutch when reverse), the car experience a strong shake and engine stop. After then i can feel that the out put engine dropped then before when i press gas. The rpm also dropped from 1000rpm to 800rpm now. VCDS shows 16555-p0171 as below. Find similar problem in another thread but not sure if it is really the same. I would like to start from simple things by checking if there is any leak or loose pipe under the hood. Do you guys have any idea where should i start first and which could be the most possible cause. Other people say it's the PVC or e.g. Do you know where is this thing?Thanks a lot. 

 

16555 - Fuel Trim: System Too Lean: Bank 1

            P0171 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

First thing to check is that your stall hasn't made the timing chain jump.
