hi, i have a 2014 fabia vrs, the headlights work ok but there is a light next to headlights that i cannot get to work, i have been to main dealers and they say they have to adjust something in the light unit to get them to work, but they are not to be used in this country, the owners manual has a procedure to turn them on but, they still wont come on. anyone got any ideas?

Sidelights. You have daytime running lights therefore these are not needed as far as I know. When you put your sidelights on, your DRL's just dim instead.
