Featured Replies

Hi can anyone help please my Skoda felicia randomly revs or drives along by its self and sometimes the engine stops and I have to wait until it cools down before it starts again.i have cleaned throttle body ,change temperature sensor and put on a new back box .thanks

Have you checked the ECU for stored errors with a scanner?

Monitoring live the MAP sensor, fuel trims and lambda sensor values would also help a lot in diagnosis.

Any prior event or repair that could be related to your problem? The more info you give, the better answers you get.

How would you describe the present status of cleanliness and sealing of injectors?

I think you have pointed at the correct faulty component already, its probably the v60 stepper motor in the throttle body failing, either that or the idle switch contacts are dirty and it is confusing the ecu.

sometimes it also happens when the ecu plug and/or the throttle body has been unplugged from the wiring harness whilst the ignition has been switched on, this messes up the learned basic settings in the ecu, its not irreversible, but it just needs the settings to be reset to default values via a diagnostics device to clear it.

Hello All,

I want to buy a bluetooth scanner for my Pickup-1999. Any suggestion? What kind of scanner works with felicias?
