10 Year Old Fabia........

Featured Replies

Has today passed it's MOT with not one advisory.  Was thinking off getting rid due to the car only doing short journeys every day  ( 1.9 TDI engine not getting warmed up fully ) and the bloody condensation in winter. I have had the car 8 years and I still love it. Only done 65000 miles.

just run in     there could be 200000 left in it yet   you could always put an aux' heater in for next year

know exactly what you both mean, wife's 07 1.9tdi elegance passed its mot yesterday, 55k no advisories ( again ) and it's just had new cam belt, aux belt and water-pump so that saves me looking at a replacement for a good while yet......... happy days

Yeah mine is a elegance. What is a aux heater?

When I'm released from prison I'll need to MOT MY 10 year old Fabia.

Should pass with flying colours B)

I said that about the Jag :( :(

And not one advisory :D

I don't think the MOT is the bench mark it once was... the 13 year old Fabia I bought for £400 from Gumtree that arrived at my place in a cloud of smoke passed its MOT :)
