We went to France on a daytrip yesterday, and when I was in Carrefour (Cite Europe), I noticed an offer which made me read it over and over again.

 

A set of alloy wheels shod with Michelin Alpin 5 tyres in the lovely Skoda size - 195/65/15

 

They cost 535 Euros, which at yesterday's rate was £392.60 for a set of brand new wheels and tyres. I didn't buy any, because I didn't have the room to bring them back.

It seemed like a real bargain to me.

There are some good tyre prices to be had when you drop down to 15".

 

I'm guessing Michelin tyres are bound to be a little cheaper in their home land!
