Hi Guys,

 

I have the dreaded annoying ratlle / sweet paper / bubble wrap ish noise coming from the middle vents / dashboard.

A lot of topics have said getting the vents out is the hardest job, well I found that the easy part lol.

 

I have looked at many a thread on this so please dont virtually kick my head in for starting another topic but I truly dont get what I am supposed to pack.

I thought I had solved it at one point till I drove for a while and it came back :(

 

Please.. Please... (I'm on my knees here)

Has anyone got any photos of what exactly I am looking at and packing?

I had a noise like this on my previous Fabia. It was a loose supporting bracket in the middle of the dash holding it to the bulkhead. I had it fixed under warranty. It can be a lengthy job.

The only occasional noise I get now is from the handle on the glove compartment. If I just pull it very slightly open, it goes away for a while.

Thats the issue I am having.. I know its been mentioned in depth about packing the bracket but can I heckers like find what exactly I should be looking at.

The noise is driving me crackers!!! :S
