ABSOLUTELY HUGE VAG Parts catalogue to download!

Featured Replies

Whilst looking for some parts for my Octavia II, I came across the absolutely HUGE (1534 pages in  PDF format document of over 30MB!) parts catalogue from JP Group in Denmark - it lists virtually every part most of us are likely to look for!.

OK, the parts are listed in JP P/N (generally with pictures!) order but against each JP P/N you will find the VAG P/N and the VAG vehicles (Audi, VW, SEAT, SKODA)to which it was fitted (back to well into the 1990s!) - so you can see a wide variety of possible original vehicle types might be possible sources (including, of course, the JP Group themselves!).

Unfortunately searching directly on a VAG P/N seems hit & miss, and so it takes time to find what you need, but I suggest you download a copy as a reference book - it's here:

I use this for the LT parts and now Octavia too. I cross references the part to show which other models it was used in, if any.

Edit: Wrong thread. :notme:

That's excellent - many thanks

I think that one is possibly better at finding the right part number - and the JP Group catalogue is good for giving actual photos of those parts once you have what you think is the right P/N

One thing I found interesting from CRB's link - I thought that most of the VAG cars of similar size (and the Octavia II/Golf V/Audi A4 etc.) of that era shared many similar chassis design features - in this case I am interested in the suspension designs/components - but found that they are appear to be significantly different, and that the Octy II resembles more the Golf IV design than the others. On reflection, I suppose that's not actually surprising, but have others found other significant differences?

I use partsbase.org which is currently up to 2013.basically ETKA.............

Having been pointed to the same place, I also use it, but use the JP Group pdf as well to find out where the same parts are used on other VAG models - they are complementary and should not be contradictory (we hope).

Www.partscats.info is my favorite.
