2011 vrs colombus link to iphone 5c help?

Featured Replies

Morning all

collected my vrs wagon last night

have had a forum search and quick google

cant get my colombus to find my 6 month old iphone 5c

the car is a 2011

can this be made to work or is the tech in the car already outdated?

regards lee

Assuming you have a BT module at all (does the phone button just mute the stereo?), then in a 2011 it might just be an older bluetooth module which doesn't recognise iPhones. Can you look under the seat and check if one is there, and if so report the part number?

When you try to link it shows the details of the previous owners phone so i guess it must have bt module

i will look and try to find the numbers

which seat is it under?

Its easier to pair if you look for Skoda BT on your phone rather than search for your phone from the Columbus.

It could be either but probably the driver's seat if factory fitted.
