Just joined today after getting my 64 Octavia 3 L & K last Monday (ex demo). I probably won't be buying too many more cars being mid 70's and decided I was going to have a bit of luxury this time!! Seen the comments that in their wisdom Skoda don't detail in the Service Schedule booklet what is covered in the services particularly for the flexible servicing option which is what I'm on. Neither is there provision for recording what's been done other than on their computer although it says you can have a printed verification. Tell that to Lookers at Stockport as their sales team seem to have little knowledge about any of that. I'm currently chasing them for detailed info on the flexible service option and a service verification printout - it's like walking through treacle. Very interested also to see info apparently from Skoda in Czech Republic on service intervals for filters, oil changes etc and particularly the cambelt with no time restriction. I wonder if there's any updates on the earlier info which was last April. Looking forward to seeing what comes up relating to the Octavia which so far is meeting all my expectations (I had a 2004 Superb for 7 years from new) and contributing to any relevant issues.

I'm in my low 50's and just bought (well ordered) my second Octavia because I was so impressed with the first (2003 Octavia VRS), which I ran for 11 years and only sold two weeks ago after 130,000 miles +.
