What product should be the last thing on my windows?

After the cars been all washed and dryed should I use a glass polish to make sure all the dirt is removed, then apply a glass cleaner or...

I've got Autoglym fast glass - spray on wipe off cleaner

And Autoglym glass polish - apply, leave to try, buff off.

I would clean with Fast Glass...Polish with Glass Polish...then redo with Fast Glass to avoid smears from the wipers

Have you considered a Rain repellant too?

The fast glass and polish both say they repell water, but don't know how well.

seen a few people mention AG glass gaurd for that, the reviews look great!

Wash glass & dry, then use the glass polish, then use the fast glass. After washing you could also clay the screen.

 

If you want a very easy rain repellant then Soft 99 Glaco, Angelwax H2GO are very easy. Gtechniq G5 (my favourite) is not quite as easy as the other 2 mentioned, but that's only down to a little more effort is required to buff it off. However, it is easy enough & IMO it works slightly better & lasts slightly longer than the others.

Using aquapel on mine, very pleased with it. Will try the carbon collective stuff next time. Infact may top the windscreen with a layer of the CC stuff see how it gets on!

Red some good things about Dodo Juice's glass sealant over on the detailing world forum. Anyone tried it? Also the Carlack stuff has some good reviews on the Clean your Car website anyone used that?

Yeah, I've used the Carlack stuff...ONCE. Its a bugger to work with...went straight into the bin!

I've still got some carlack stuff, always thought it was pretty good but put G1 on the vrs and I'm pretty impressed with it. Will try and use the car lack stuff up on the wife's mx5, it does go a long way though

The Carlack is a right PITA I agree.

 

I have G5 applied too and for a normal wash, use nothing more than AG Fast Glass. But if I'm re-applying I use G4 (Glass Polish), then Fast Glass then re-apply G5.
