Diesel Dampers & Springs... Recommendation?

Featured Replies

Right, Ive decided, based on the Octy feeling a bit more floaty than usual the back end shocks are on the way out.

hardly surprising after 167000 miles to be fair!

so, as part of the 2015 maintenance works im going change out all 4 shocks and springs.

Not going coilys, not going lowering springs, our roads aint worth the risk or wrecking them, nor is the car worth enough to justify the inevitable "Mod Loading" my insurance company would land on me. (my mate never got a claim paid out by his company as the coilovers hadnt been declared, so not risking that either)

so.....

who makes a good, reasonably priced springs and shocks for a auld diesel burning Mk1??

thanks guys :D

i'll be selling my shocks and springs if your interested - ive got recipts saying they have been changed and not original from factory

I just bought Sachs SuperTouring shocks at very good price,30 pounds a piece
