He's enjoying his enforced absence by touring with a family member on a new car hunt, and will no doubt come back refreshed from his break ready to guide more members, as he and Keith did with me, down the right path to justice with Skoda UK. It's good that characters such as George are missed, that tells you about the contribution they have made to the forum and the respect their views are afforded.

He comes across abit funny at times, but hes a top bloke once you get to know him n the forum wouldnt be the same without him tbh.

Wonder if he's coming back? As I've said to jack before, if i got banned by a certain mod i wouldnt be coming back, on principle.

Yes, I do know the reason for the ban but it's not my place to disclose more of the man's business than he might want me to. I know he's helping a family member chase down a new car, and that it will be well spent quality time for George.

As an aside, it turns out that although I've never met George and he lives the better part of 90 miles or so away from me, that our grandparents are from the same small mining village in Lanarkshire and once lived no more than 100 yards from each other. It's a small world indeed.

Not me, but I saw what caused it and is not behaviour becoming anyone on this forum in my opinion, provoked or not, everyone should know how to act.

Well, No we know that then I reckon we should get him fizzing.... We can start giving incorrect answers to CAVE engines and quote incorrect data figures, perhaps write an email to Skoda praising them and acknowledging that they are doing everything they can to look after its customers! That should get him scratching his eyes out
