Immobiliser fault

Featured Replies

Mk1 Octavia, with immobiliser fault .

Have access to VCDS and says key signal low and faulty reader, engine start blocked by immobiliser

Same problem with both keys.

Obviously easiest way is to code out the immobiliser completely, however we need to get the 4 digit pin number. Also have Delphi diagnostic tool, but that can't report it either.

Can anyone advise , or if around Gloucester area do the job ?

Thanks in advance

Russ

Have you tried putting a new battery in one of the keys, preferably the one you use more?

Battery only runs the central locking part, the key has a small transponder that the car reads
