Curious.. but would a r32 golf front end fit on the octy? Or at least the grills swap over ?

Not a chance without massive work mate.

Have a look on google images at the shape of the front edge of the front doors on a golf and an octavia and the skoda door has a much bigger curve in it. This means that you will have to heavily modify the wings to get them to fit and there is a good change that the side shape is gonna be completely different aswell! 

Within reason the front end parts will bolt on to the chassis rails as floor platform is the same, but where the bonnet meets the windscreen scuttle panel is gonna be completely different aswell. Just gonna be chasing your tail with issues in the end fella

 

No sure what u mean with regards to the grills 

Okay thanks .. I had no idea so thought id find out. And to be honest reading back about the grill I have no idea either .. im on with carbon fibre wrapping the grill today so im hoping it goes well and then im thinking about the fog light surrounds and spoiler too .. but decisive about the fog lights ..
