Rapid door card.

Featured Replies

Anyone had the door card off their Rapid? Or know how? That's front door card.

Need to prise it off with a set of trim removal tools. Will also need a new set of trim clips to put it back on as removal will destroy the ones holding it in place. Can't remember without going downstairs to look, but I believe there might be a couple of screws below the door bin as well.

Be very careful - it is easy to bend and mark the door card plastic when removing - ease it off very slowly.

No need to remove the door card, it's the rubber window (driver side) seal. It's doing my head in now, the only squeak I have on the car and it's right next to my earhole, top of the door/window seal. If I drop the window around 3mm the squeak stops. I've tried rubber treatment, silicone spray, vasoline, even adjust the door striker plates up, down, in out still squeaks.

I think I'm going to reject the car.

I don't think so.

Any thoughts about what to try next?

Gummi Pflege will sort that out. Apply some in the area where the window rubber is squeaking - job done.
