Can anybody help?

I have had my 'V' reg Octavia in the garage four times and the problem keeps returning.

The Problem!

When I take my foot off the accelerator to brake, say approaching a roundabout, the engine cuts out and the power steering is lost. It is most dangerous.

My money would be on the clutch pedel switch. It's a blue switch at the top of the arm or the connection has come off.
