navigation updates

Featured Replies

I have a 9 month 8ld Elegance with Columbus navigation, should there be free updates for the first 3 years.

Thanks

I shouldn't think so, especially as Skoda seem to be telling people that their maps (v10 IIRC) are the latest available, where as you can happily install the V12 maps from a VW RSN510 if you can get them yourself.

The RNS-510 (AKA Superb Columbus) does not come with free map updates, even now they are still a chargeable purchase. The Columbus in the MK3 Octavia is a totally different unit, and has nothing in common except its name with the old outdated Superb unit. The new Columbus does come with free map updates for 12 months, but not the old one.

If it's owt like the amundson+ update over £200 cheaper to buy a new sat nav.
