I have a mk1 130 and every morning after 1 mile it starts to misfire. I have fitted a new injection loom and it's still there help please

Glow Plugs?

Thanks its worth a try. The glow plug light isn't coming on when it starts to miss but if I switch engine off and on again it stops missing?

Have you checked for codes?

Yes intermittent fault on injector 2 then read codes again and it was injector 4

New injectors, or recon injectors are needed. But you can also get repair kits for them.

Had something similar on my pd130 golf, replaced the injector wiring still there, tried cleaning the injectors still there ended up replacing the injectors in the end and sold the car, ended up being the turbo had gone so had to replace that out of my own pocket and all 4 injectors needed replacing and warranty wouldn't pay up I was sick

Give it some injector cleaner? Might not work, but it's worth a gamble for a tenner.
