Hi,

My daughter's fabia, on 3 occasions, while driving on motorway, has lost all throttle response and gone to idling revs, with all warning lights on. After stopping and restarting engine warnings stayed on and throttle pedal made no difference to idling revs. Normal operation was resumed after a couple of minutes. RAC man was called on one occasion and found manifold sensor fault which he cleared.

Any suggestions as to a potential cause would be welcome!

MAP fault, clean the plenum and the sensor, likely to be oiled up.
