Oil in coolant = probable head gasket.

Any sign of mayo on the inside of the oil filler cap?

Some sort of filthy leak stopper I suspect. treat it to a nice colonic then fix the leaky rad by replacing it.

Looks like Kseal mate. I've used it to fix a leaky rad on my fabia but then flushed it through a couple of weeks later. It does like you have quite rightly said, bubble up a bit. Personally I don't think it's anything to worry about if you were to leave it in but it does appear to go a bit gunky hence why I flushed it through once it had fixed my leak.

Cost me £9 for a bottle and I've got 15k mile out of the rad so far with no recurring leak.

(If it is Kseal you'll clearly see little specs of copper in it)

Mines fill of kseal and looks nothing like that.

Mine wasn't "full" of kseal, and looked almost exactly like that lol.

I think even if we agree to disagree on whether or not that is Kseal, I think we could probably agree that there is undoubtedly a leak stopper of some description in there. What that is almost definitely not is emulsified oil, which would be a problem.

I stuck a bottle of kseal in mine, which cured the leaky rad. Sure its not milkshake?

But I agree it doesn't look like oil at all.

Well this was leftover kseal in my expansion tank after a half hearted attempt at getting rid of it

Hmm only 60,000 on clock, not leaking coolant, no mayo signs in oil at all, original radiator im sure. Nothing to worry about then?

Personally, I don't think so mate.

Edit: however if you didn't put the leak stopper in and you don't know what type has gone in, how long it has been in there or how bad and where the leak was it needed to stop, I'd flush the coolant system as a matter of course, put fresh coolant in and keep your eye on it.
