10" subwoofer in vrs hatchback

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2001 vRS hatchback and an overly large JBL 10" Sub which takes up a little too much boot space for my liking.

I've seen some MDF boxes for the estate version which fit in the left wheelarch space is there anything similar for the hatchback?

Or can anyone suggest the best way of mounting one in that space? I have removed the CD changer.

Thanks in advance.

They just for the estate i remember looking i wanted to build mine in the side but scraped the idea. but if you wanted to the way forward would be to shape mdf your self and make your own.

or just do that LOL

Your build was the inspiration Lloyd :)

He is really good mate :)

He made up my current box

He does full fibreglass pods, and where he buys lots he does good prices

It will be around 120-150 a side iirc with him
